 Gaitlyn and her new owner

Gaitlyn is a 2005 filly, out of a Ramblin Rex mare, by a Storm Warning stallion. She is chocolate with flaxen mane and tail, just like her Mom. She has been handled from birth and is very friendly. Her first day out of the barn (left), she took off gaiting with Mom.

Gaitlyn bleached a little in the summer sun and by six months of age was showing a lot of dapples (right).

At 12 months Gaitlyn still had some of her winter coat. She had grown to 14 hands and was starting to look a lot like her mother.
By eighteen months, Gaitlyn had grown some more and become a nice looking young horse, with a dark chocolate coat and light flaxen mane and tail.
By two years old Gaitie measured 15 hands and was already taller than her mother. Her coat had become a very dark chocolate and her mane and tail were flaxen, just like Mom. She has no white markings. She is one of our friendliest and most people oriented horses. By her third birthday, her saddle training had begun and she was an enthusiastic learner.
In 2008, Gaitlyn had 90 days of professional training and was certified to breed, by the Rocky Mountain Horse Association. She then started her career as a trail horse.
Just like her Mom before her,
Gaitlyn gets into the Christmas spirit
The snowiest winter the Northwest had seen in several decades did not stop Gaitlyn from enjoying her trail training, early in 2009.
