Northwest Jericho's Rufus 2007 Gelding

Born just after Midnight on March 4, 2007, to Wilma's April Dawn, Rufus was a very independent little colt. Click HERE  to see his pedigree

At three days old, our new colt made his first trip outside, with Mom.

By three months old, Rufus had grown a lot and was halter trained. He looks a lot like his full sister, Penny, Dawn's 2006 foal.

At one year old, Rufus still had some of his winter wooly coat but had grown up a lot. However, he still had the same friendly personality and loved to be haltered and to be with people.

By fifteen months, Rufus was starting to look a lot more mature but he had not lost his great disposition and was still as friendly as ever.

By the time he was two years old, Rufus had developed into a nice young horse. He still had his in-your-pocket personality and was showing the great conformation of his parents. If he also shares their gaiting ability and trail savvy, he will be a terrific saddle horse.

Rufus started his saddle training just before his third birthday.
