Storm Watch Stormy is not for sale, because of a stifle injury. She can still be ridden but cannot handle long days on the trail anymore, so we have decided to keep her at home and let her live out her days at our farm. She will still get ridden from time to time but will not be going mountain climbing again. Stormy is a chocolate/flaxen mare, by VBF's Storm Warning. She has a very calm and friendly disposition and a nice smooth trail gait. She had a little black Filly in April of 2007, who can be seen on our four year olds page.

Stormy was much more at home on the trail prior to her injury but also had some show ring experience. She is seen here as the lead horse in a pack string, during the Mountain Horse breed demo at the 2006 Evergreen Gaited Classic horse show.

During the extra snowy 2006-07 winter, Stormy had a thick woolly coat and was looking a lot like an expectant mom. We have not rebred Stormy since she foaled in 2007. She spent most of that time as a trail horse until she injured her leg.

At 15.1 hands, Stormy is one of our larger mares. She enjoyed her time off from breeding, as one of our trail horses. 

Stormy loves water. She enjoys being washed with a hose or playing in a creek.
