Stormy is a chocolate/flaxen mare, by Storm Warning. She has a very sweet and friendly disposition and a nice smooth trail gait. She had a little black Filly in April of 2007, who can be seen on our yearlings page.

Stormy is much more at home on the trail but also has some show ring experience. She is seen here as the lead horse in a pack string, during the Mountain Horse breed demo at the 2006 Evergreen Gaited Classic horse show.

During the extra snowy 2006-07 winter, Stormy had a thick woolly coat and was looking a lot like an expectant mom. We did not breed stormy in 2007 and we have been riding her a lot on trails this year. She is offered for sale as an open trail mare, with a free breeding to our stallion available.

At 15.1 hands, Stormy is one of our larger mares. She has enjoyed her year off from breeding, as one of our trail horses and is probably the sweetest and safest trail mare that we currently have for sale.
