Rose is a sweet chocolate/flax 2003 mare by Blue Rain, who stands 14.2 hands. She is a little shy but very affectionate. She tends to stand back while the others in the herd run up to be petted but comes forward, after they have lost interest. Rose is a poster-child for the Rocky Mountain breed, with her color, her gait and her temperament.
Rose has been certified to breed, by RMHA and has a smooth daisy-clipper gait. She is truly a do anything horse. She is at home both on the trail and in the show ring.
Rose had her show debut in 2007, at the Evergreen Classic show. She was entered in only two classes and won blue ribbons in both. She is seen above with her ribbon, trophy and prizes for winning the UMH NW Country Trail Pleasure championship.
She continued her success in 2008 at the NWPTWHA Summer Spectacular show, winning the novice horse blue ribbon and reserve champion ribbon in Country Trail Pleasure. She finished that season as the UMH Northwest Regional Reserve High Point Champion, in Country Trail Pleasure.
Rose is a very calm, friendly and obedient mare. She is seen here with our five year old grandson.
Our versatile little mare has also been trained as a cart horse.
